What does the Refill & Drainage System actually do?

The Refill & Drainage System connects the dock to your home’s water supply and drain so it can automatically refill its clean water tank and pump out dirty water after mop washing. That means you do not need to carry tanks back and forth for everyday use—once installed, water handling is largely automated.

Do I need special plumbing to install the dock?

You will need access to both a water supply and a drain near where the dock is installed. Roborock recommends keeping the drainage pipeline within a limited height difference from the floor and following the included installation guide. If you are unsure, treating it like installing a small appliance (such as a dishwasher drain line) and consulting a professional is a good idea.

Is the Saros 10 a good choice for homes with pets and long hair?

Yes. The dual anti-tangle system—DuoDivide main brush plus FlexiArm Riser side brush—is designed for a 0% hair-tangle rate while still removing nearly all hair from floors. Combined with its strong suction and hot-water mop washing, it is especially well suited for homes with pets.

Can it vacuum carpets and mop hard floors in one session?

The VibraRise 4.0 system allows the mop to lift when crossing low-pile carpets and then lower again on hard floors. In practice, that means the robot can vacuum carpets and mop hard floors in the same run, reducing the need for separate passes.

How much maintenance does the dock require?

The RockDock Ultra is designed to minimize manual work. It automatically washes and dries the mops, self-cleans the base, and refills and drains its water tanks. Routine tasks mainly include replacing the dust bag when full, topping up cleaning solution if you use one, and occasionally checking hoses and filters.
