Recommended Use Cases

Usage Instructions

• Pre-test for color fastness on all items/surfaces before full application.
• Remove any visible odor source (as applicable) and pre-vacuum carpet thoroughly.
• Locate contamination using a black light or moisture detector to identify affected areas.
• Apply with a pump-up sprayer or injection sprayer until the affected area is adequately saturated.
• Agitate with a pile brush or carpet rake to improve penetration and contact.
• Apply approximately 100–300 sq ft per gallon of ready-to-use solution depending on substrate, saturation level, and severity of odor.
• Allow 15–20 minutes dwell time (do not allow to dry before your next step).
• Clean and extract using your preferred method: hot water extraction or a low-moisture system (pads, bonnets, etc.).
• For subsurface contamination, use a Water-Claw style tool to extract from backing and padding underneath.
• For hard surfaces: spray or wipe Odor Death, allow to dwell for several seconds, then remove with a clean damp cloth or towel.

Dilution Guidance

• Light to Medium Odor: Mix 12 oz per 1 gallon of water (ready-to-use).
• Heavy Odor: Mix 12–24 oz per 1 gallon of water (ready-to-use).
• In-line sprayer option: An in-line pressure sprayer with a 10:1 tip may be used without pre-diluting the product.
• Additive use: May be added to most cleaning pre-sprays or detergents to create a dual-purpose (clean + deodorize) application.

Guidelines & Safety

• Always pre-test for color fastness and material compatibility before broad application.
• For severe odors, effective removal may require complete saturation so the solution contacts the odor source (including pad/backing when contamination is subsurface).
• Use appropriate PPE and ventilation during application, especially in enclosed areas.
• May be used on surfaces that are both color-fast and water-safe.
• Store sealed in a cool, dry place. Product is freeze-thaw stable.
