Renovator Technology
The TM4 features patented Renovator attachments—stainless steel catch trays mounted at the front and rear of the machine. As the counter-rotating brushes agitate the carpet fibers, the Renovators capture and remove dry soil, debris, and compound particulates from deep within the pile. This process significantly outperforms traditional vacuuming and helps prevent abrasive particles from remaining in the carpet.
Because dry soil often accounts for 75–80% of the overall soil load in carpet, and is the primary cause of premature wear in traffic lanes, effective dry soil removal is critical. By removing this soil before cleaning chemistry is applied, the TM4 helps improve final cleaning results and extend the useful life of the carpet.
Versatile Performance
- Pre-Scrubbing & Encapsulation: Agitates encapsulation chemistry deep into carpet fibers for thorough, low-moisture cleaning.
- Dry Compound Cleaning: Brushes in and recovers dry cleaning compounds without requiring additional vacuum steps.
- Pile Lifting & Carpet Grooming: Lifts and restores crushed pile, leaving carpets refreshed and well-presented.
- Tile & Grout Cleaning: Agitates soil from grout lines and textured hard surfaces when used with appropriate chemistry.
Why Choose the TM4 CRB?
The TM4 combines power, durability, and versatility in a single machine. Dual counter-rotating brushes agitate and lift dirt, hair, and embedded residues that standard vacuums and traditional tools fail to remove. Whether you are maintaining commercial office space, multi-family housing, hospitality properties, or mixed-floor facilities, the TM4 delivers consistent, professional-grade results and a signature, well-groomed finish that enhances customer satisfaction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the TM4 suitable for both residential and commercial use?
Yes. While it is built to withstand commercial workloads, the TM4’s 15" width also makes it an excellent choice for residential properties, apartments, and small to mid-size facilities.
What types of cleaning methods can the TM4 perform?
The TM4 supports encapsulation cleaning, dry compound cleaning, pre-scrubbing, pile lifting, carpet grooming, and tile and grout agitation when used with appropriate brushes and chemistry.
How much maintenance does the TM4 require?
The machine is designed for ultra-low maintenance. Routine checks, basic cleaning, and occasional brush inspections are generally all that is required to keep it in service.
What makes the Renovator trays different from standard vacuuming?
Renovator trays collect dry soil and particulates directly after agitation, pulling debris from deep within the fiber. This process recovers far more abrasive soil than a typical upright vacuum, helping protect carpet appearance and longevity.
Can the TM4 be used on hard floors?
Yes. With the proper chemistry and technique, the TM4 can be used to scrub tile, grout, and certain hard floor surfaces, making it a versatile tool for mixed-floor environments.
Is the TM4 noisy during operation?
No. The TM4 operates at a low noise level that is suitable for use in occupied buildings such as offices, schools, and hospitality settings.
Can I increase coverage for larger areas?
Yes. With the optional tandem accessory, two TM4 units can be linked together to increase cleaning width and productivity on larger commercial projects.
